Privacy Policy

Core promise: CueWeave stores imported media, transcripts, proposals, edits and exports locally by default. We do not sell personal data and do not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Information stored on your device

CueWeave stores project packages, copied media, word-level transcripts, review decisions, caption settings, markers, export files and app preferences in its local container or a location you explicitly choose. You can remove this data by deleting projects or the app.

Speech recognition

When you request transcription, CueWeave uses Apple’s Speech framework. Recognition may run on-device when supported. Depending on system availability, language and Apple settings, Apple may process speech through its service. CueWeave does not operate a separate transcription server and does not retain a server copy of your media. Review Apple’s privacy policy and device settings for Apple service details.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit processes subscriptions and purchases. Apple handles payment credentials. CueWeave receives transaction status and product identifiers needed to unlock features, not your full payment information.

Information we do not collect

CueWeave does not require an account and does not collect your name, address, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, footage, transcript text or editing decisions on a developer-operated server. The current release contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDK.

iCloud and files you share

If you move a CueWeave project through iCloud Drive or another storage provider, that provider handles the copy under its own terms. Files exported or shared by you leave the app container according to your chosen destination.

Security and retention

Local data is protected by Apple platform sandboxing and your device security. CueWeave retains project data until you delete it. We recommend using a passcode and keeping system software current.

Children

CueWeave is a general-purpose creator tool and is not directed to children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal information from children.
