Why does DailyKey ask for Screen Time permission?
Screen Time permission is only needed if you create a Key that limits access to certain apps. If you only use DailyKey for habit tracking, you can decline the permission and still use the app fully.
What happens if I bypass a Key?
You can always pause or bypass a Key. DailyKey is designed to help you stay intentional, not to punish you. Your bypass choices are stored locally.
Is my data backed up?
By default, your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your data is backed up through your private iCloud account managed by Apple.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open DailyKey, go to Me → Subscription, and tap "Restore Purchases." This uses Apple's StoreKit restore flow.
A protected app is still blocked even though I completed my habit. What should I do?
Try opening DailyKey once to let the rule engine refresh. If the issue persists, check that Screen Time permission is still granted in iOS Settings → Screen Time → App & Website Activity.
