DevNerve
Introduction
DevNerve is designed as a local-first developer intelligence workspace. This policy explains what data DevNerve stores, when data is sent to third-party services you configure, and what Capyzeno does not receive.
Core promise: DevNerve does not require a Capyzeno-operated analytics backend for your app business data. Provider data is fetched directly from services you configure to DevNerve on your device.
1. Data Stored Locally
- App and workspace configuration
- Normalized metrics, reviews, engineering issues, releases and evidence
- Telemetry Contract files and validation results
- Provider query caches, sync cursors and locally downloaded raw artifacts
2. Credentials
Provider credentials, API tokens and App Store Connect private keys are stored in the operating system Keychain. DevNerve data stores contain only credential references. Credentials are not stored in UserDefaults or CloudKit.
3. Optional iCloud Sync
If enabled, DevNerve may sync lightweight configuration and insight summaries through your private iCloud account. Large time-series metrics, reviews, engineering payloads and raw provider artifacts remain local.
4. Provider Connections
When you configure App Store Connect, PostHog, Sentry, GitHub or another supported service, DevNerve sends requests directly to that provider using the credentials you supplied. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Optional AI Explanation
AI explanation is optional. When you explicitly request an explanation, DevNerve sends a structured evidence package to the AI endpoint you configured. The package is designed to contain normalized evidence rather than raw provider dumps. The AI provider is not permitted to alter deterministic metrics, confidence or severity inside DevNerve.
6. Data We Do Not Sell or Use for Advertising
We do not sell DevNerve data, use it for cross-app advertising, or operate an advertising profile based on your connected app portfolio.
7. Security
Protect your developer Mac, iPhone and iPad with a passcode and current operating system updates. Revoke provider tokens immediately if you suspect they were exposed.
8. Children's Privacy
DevNerve is a professional developer tool and is not directed to children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as DevNerve adds providers or platform capabilities. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
