Loopraxis
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Loopraxis app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use the App. The App is not designed for children under 13.
Description of Service
Loopraxis is a local-first, universal personal loop platform. You organize content you need to revisit or perform repeatedly into material sets, choose a practice flow and scheduling strategy, and the App guides execution, records feedback, and automatically adjusts what comes next. The first release supports four domains — knowledge memorization, language practice, instrument practice, and personal routines — on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17.2+).
Important Disclaimers
Not for medical use: Loopraxis is not intended for medical, medication, rehabilitation, psychological intervention, or any health-related use. Routine templates in the app (such as skincare routines) are for personal step management only and do not constitute or replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified physician for any health-related questions.
Not a safety-critical system: Loopraxis is not a safety-critical checking system and must not be used in any scenario where failure could result in personal injury, property damage, or a safety incident (such as equipment safety checks or pre-flight inspections).
No promised outcomes: Loopraxis is a practice organization and scheduling tool. It makes no promise of any improvement in learning, memory, language ability, musical performance, or any other skill. Results depend on your content, methods, and effort.
Free of Charge
Loopraxis is currently completely free: no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no ads. Every feature works out of the box.
Data Loss Warning
Local storage means uninstalling loses everything. Loopraxis material sets, practice history, and recordings are stored locally on your device by default, and we hold no backups. Uninstalling the app, resetting the device, or switching devices will permanently lose local data with no way to recover it. You can enable iCloud sync in Settings as an optional backup; synced data is stored in your own iCloud account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent any part of the app
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Remove any copyright or other ownership notices
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Use the app for medical, medication, rehabilitation, or any safety-critical purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the app
Intellectual Property
The app and all of its content, features, and design (including but not limited to the Loopraxis brand, interface design, scheduling engine, and practice runner implementations) are the exclusive property of Capyzeno or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your content belongs to you: materials, recordings, and practice data you create or import in the app are yours; we claim no rights over them. For .loop templates you share with others, usage terms are between the sharer and the recipient — Capyzeno is not involved and assumes no related liability.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Capyzeno shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, business interruption, health-related harm, or failure to achieve expected practice outcomes. As the app is currently provided free of charge, Capyzeno's liability to you arising from your use of the app is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Apple Standard Terms
Use of this app is also subject to Apple's standard Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
