Thank you for using WorktileX. This policy explains how we handle your data. Our approach is simple: WorktileX is a local-first utility. We collect nothing, we run no servers, and your data never leaves your Mac unless you explicitly share it yourself.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

WorktileX stores the following information locally on your Mac:

• Layout data: your saved layouts, custom grid definitions (rows, columns, gutters, sequential constraints), hotkey assignments and auto layout rules.
• App preferences: settings such as snapping behavior, trial status and purchase tier, stored with macOS UserDefaults and local files inside the app container.
• Window captures: screenshots you take are written only to the clipboard or a local file at the location you choose (for example your Desktop). WorktileX never uploads them.

2. System Permissions

To move, resize and organize windows, WorktileX may ask for the following macOS permissions. Each is used strictly on your device, in real time, to perform the feature you requested:

• Accessibility: used to position and resize application windows and to enumerate windows when you use Click & Select or auto layout rules.
• Input Monitoring: used to detect your global hotkeys (such as ⌥⌘L) so Quick Layout and other shortcuts can trigger.
• Screen Recording: used to render live window thumbnails in the drop panel and to capture the focused window when you explicitly use Window Capture. Thumbnails and captures are processed locally and are never transmitted.

You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Revoking them disables the related features; no data is sent to us either way.

3. Window Captures

Window screenshots produced by WorktileX belong to you. They are written to the clipboard or to a local file on your Mac, and they never leave your device unless you share them yourself (for example by pasting, emailing or AirDropping them). We never see their content.

4. Purchases

WorktileX is distributed through the Mac App Store. All purchases (Standard one-time unlock, Pro subscription and Pro lifetime) and the 14-day trial are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information. We only receive from Apple the entitlement status needed to unlock features on your device, and that status is verified and stored locally.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly state that we do not collect:

• Your name, email address or any account credentials - no account exists
• Analytics, usage statistics, crash-tracking or behavioral data via any SDK
• Your location
• Device identifiers used for tracking
• The content of your windows, screens or captures
• Your layout configurations, hotkeys or auto layout rules
• Any information transmitted to Capyzeno servers - we operate no servers for this app

6. Data Security and Deletion

Because your data stays on your Mac, its security relies on the protections of macOS: FileVault disk encryption, your login password and the app sandbox. Deleting WorktileX removes its container together with all stored layouts, preferences and rules. There is nothing on our side to delete, because nothing was ever uploaded.

7. Third-Party Services

WorktileX integrates no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. The only external service involved is Apple's Mac App Store and StoreKit, which handles downloads, the free trial and all payments under Apple's privacy policy.

8. Children's Privacy

WorktileX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, no children's data can be gathered by it.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updated policies will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store.
